Money via mobile phone

In the developing world there is an evolution coming up, using your mobile phone to let your cash money travel as quickly as a text message. To charge your mobile-money account you go to a corner shop, give them your cash money and then they charge your account by sending a special kind of message. Then you can transfer your mobile money via a text message to other registered users, who can withdraw the money at their own corner shop, or to not registered users who will receive a text message with a code, and with this code redeem the money. A successful example of mobile money was given at Kenya by the operator Safaricom, who has now nearly 7 million users.
