The reaction of the investors is caused on the one hand by the fact that National Banks and governments are prepared to take such enormous steps and on the other hand by the fear that the crisis will spread, even to fast-growing Asian markets.
The investors are in that way creating a choking situation, in which the biggest worry is not the effectiveness of the taken measurements, but the ability of the measurements, who reach their aim- namely stabilising the financial system- to prevent a worldwide recession.
